“THANKS for producing the first non-intimidating fitness book that I have seen. This book will turn a non-exerciser into an exercising one and help those who are already exercising to do it right and gain much more from their workouts.
For me personally, the biggest gain from your book is that you have taught me to double-up the effectiveness of exercise routines by combining actions rather than just focusing on one. Brilliant! I just hadn’t realized that you could do that. This truly gives me a better workout that takes less time, which is just great.
One thing I particularly like is that almost every exercise in your manual can be varied to such a degree that I can choose whether go for a really tough workout or only a moderate one. Nice. This is great because flexibility and balance can easily be forgotten and there’s much more to fitness and health than just exhausting yourself ...”

“Dear Jon, I wish I’d known about Fitnessblasting methods years ago. They struck a chord with me when I first heard about them because they make such a lot of sense. Before your manual I would never have believed that working out without weights could be so effective.
I am especially impressed with your “best leg and lung exercise in the world”. As a natural Doubting-Thomas, I was sceptical at first but no longer. I don’t even know of a near rival to this deceptively tough mix of power and cardio. What really impressed me was that even a minute was hard going - and I reckon myself to be fit!
Additionally, although I can hardly swear to this, it seems to have cured my sore Achilles tendons! …”
Brian Spence. Chartered Accountant, daily gym freak, father of 3 children, Cheshire. UK

“Jon, thank you for your FITNESSBLASTING program! I’ve had truly great results with it. Being a lazy person who likes to read a lot of self motivation books I found your philosophy approach into exercising not only very comfortable, but inspiring and self motivating also. Best of all, following your exercises works!
For someone used to training with weights for years, it was hard at first to believe how effective your method could be. This is not to say it was easy. To be honest, training your way is not as easy as it looks from your pics, and most of the exercises in your program were completely unknown to me. But I can now say that I’m hooked! …”
Aryeh Tal. Herzeliya, Israel.

“I have always been active, playing football then five-a-side and squash with fitness classes at the Manchester YMCA. Now the knees have gone I try to get to the gym 2-3 times a week for a cardiovascular routine with a heart monitor, and a few of the devilish weights machines, and a swim of around 30 lengths once a week. My objective is just to maintain a level of fitness as I get older, and enjoy my food and the odd drink. All these fashionable yo-yo diets don’t work, and I reckon the only way to lose my tummy is liposuction. It is becoming an effort to get in the car and go to the gym and it’s boring and I feel I am in a comfort zone.”
“Having just read through the Fitnessblasting programme and Dangerous Exercises Exposed I can’t wait to get started. Jon Dyson is writing in my language and I feel comfortable that if I can be disciplined to stick at it then his range and variety of exercises are just what I am looking at this point for to give my body a wake up call. The programme looks fresh but familiar, and certainly will require commitment, but my instincts tell me that this system is what I have been waiting for so long as I don’t take the typical male approach of rushing in starting at the back, and take it easy and build up slowly – in my own time and at home.”
Paul S – Age 60 – Manchester – England.

“…I’ve never been really sure of the best way to warm up. I always felt that the way most people do this is either too feeble to be effective or so overdone that you are exhausted before you start. Your explanation in the manual was a big help. The explanation in the bonus booklet was even better.
But what really impressed me about your book on dangerous exercises was the horrible familiarity of so many of them. Did I do any of these? It was hard not to think that they probably caused at least some of my previous aches and pains. Not any more. Yet it hurts nearly as much to see members of my gym still doing some of the dodgiest ones. They obviously haven’t seen your book!
Thanks to your magnificent manual im now certain that I will get fitter faster and definitely safer. I also like that your books have none of the usual padding that so many others seem to have as standard.
Let’s have some more please!”
Yvonne Brown, Special Needs Teacher, mother of 3, twice weekly gym goer, Bowden UK.

“It’s nice at last to see a website and fitness books that are not devoted to muscle monsters. Yet full of effective material for someone who wants to be really fit.
As a rock climber, all-round-fitness and especially strong legs are really important. So I couldn’t believe my first attempt at your Blaster Squats. I only managed 25 and a similar number on my second attempt before I ran out of steam. It felt like the first time I ever did half an hour of spinning! Except that this only took about a minute and a half in total. In fact, it was worse because the next morning I could hardly walk. Yet I’m supposed to be fit!
The thing that I really could not believe though was that your program was so simple. It’s exactly like you said. We are so indoctrinated by the constant images and propaganda about weight-training and bulging muscles, or the need to make use of this or that piece of supposedly essential fitness equipment, that you can’t help thinking it’s all normal.
If you stop to think about it for a second you would wonder how anybody could ever have been fit before we were all sold on all that so-called fitness apparatus. So, although I didn’t believe it at first, count me a believer from now on! …”
Toby Glynn. Melbourne, Australia.

“ ..As a natural-born-skeptic, I wouldn’t have believed that training without weights or machines could be so effective. In fact, I’m more than impressed by the simplicity of it all. I’m on the road a lot. You r manual has given me a choice of routines I can do wherever I’m traveling because I don’t need equipment or a gym. That is invaluable.
Lastly, let me say that it’s a pleasure to be able to buy something on the web where the ‘freebies’ turn out to be as valuable as the main items. I especially appreciate the booklet about Dropping A Belt Notch in Two Weeks Or Less. The little routine sets me up beautifully for the day.

“Dear faster-safer-fitness, Weight lifting is not my thing at all. I’m more of a Pilates-person. So your method of fitness without weights struck the right note. I especially like your leg and lung exercise. Why? Because it is simply magnificent. Better still, it is simple and magnificent! It gives the ‘blast’ I don’t get from Pilates and provides exactly the strength and speed fitness I need for Squash. Best of all, it doesn’t take hours like aerobics ...”
Janet Morris. Nursery School Proprietor, mother of 3, Manchester UK.

Great Techniques to
Double Your Results in Half the Time
How To Get Fit Faster & Safer Than You Ever Believed Possible Without Weights, Machines, Mad Hours in the Gym or Pounding the Streets.
Fitnessblasting shows you how to multiply
the intensity of your workouts, cut your
workout time yet still get rapid & better
results.
Just
about everyone knows that to be serious
about fitness means using weights or machines,
don’t they? Almost every gym or
fitness club boosts this idea by being
full to the brim with fitness equipment.
Having been indoctrinated with this idea, it’s hard for some people to shake it off. So, let me help you. At the same time I’ll demonstrate some great techniques to get you fitter faster and safer.
But This Can’t Be True, Can It?
I’ll show you how to multiply the intensity and effectiveness of exercises without using or adding weights or increasing repetitions. You’ll achieve more in less time.
You also avoid the dangers of weight training and the mind-grind of countless boring and time-consuming hours on repetitive machines. Yes, these techniques apply to aerobics too.
How Do I Know?
For over 30 years I've been a sprinter, hurdler, rugby player and a swimmer. I've done weight lifting, cycling, orienteering and circuit training. And I've loved them all.
In that time, I've seen workouts that work and workouts that don’t. I've seen workouts that produce all-round 'total' fitness and workouts that don’t. I've seen workouts that produce injuries and workouts that don’t. Most of this has been learned the hard way. Fortunately, none of my injuries were career-killers. The worst kept me out of action for five months in a support collar but even this was better than the 2 years I was told it might need.
Try This To Frighten Yourself
Tot-up the number of runners, footballers, rugby players and fitness fanatics you know who have dodgy knees or hips. Add the weight lifters and it’s easy to run up a scary total. And this is probably mainly among keep-fit enthusiasts, amateurs and fun runners!
Nor am I just talking about a few unlucky exceptions who reach middle-age, join a gym, try out the equipment, begin weights and go jogging to preserve their youth after 25 or 30 years of inactivity.
|
It's even worse amongst the professionals!
This makes some people happy ...
- chiropractors,
- physiotherapists,
- surgeons and
- drug sellers
… are doing excellent business. |

The Smiler. |
Shock-Horror!
But just how much of a surprise should this be when the dominant fitness 'methodology' is to spend hours on running machines, striding machines, rowing machines, or whatever, and lifting ever-heavier weights?
Now don't get me wrong. The explosion of gym membership is fantastic. Yet the massive over-reliance on weights and machines is not so clever and is bound to have a price. Take a look at all the heavy strapping to stop those knees disintegrating? See the big belts to stop backs from collapsing? Is that healthy?
Now if anyone wants to build up big bulging muscles with massive weights and they are prepared to take the risks, then I'm not knocking it! Good luck to them. They’ll need it. But it's hardly all-round fitness is it?
The Mind-Grind Gym
And another thing. Have you noticed how so many gyms and fitness clubs are loaded with anti-boredom devices? TV screens all over the place, muzik from every direction and personal music players on every other hip. I've even seen people reading while 'working-out' on machines!
Now, does this tell us what a mind-grind these methods are or not? Just how long will a normal non-zombie real person keep doing this mind-numbing stuff? And with fitness 'gurus' recommending at least 30 fat-burning minutes on this or that machine three or four times a week just imagine the drop-out rate. But this is pure nonsense! Excess fat can be burned off in far less time.
BodyShocking
The Rapid Alternative to Aerobics
The BodyShocking system of Fitnessblasting will show you how. This means that the time devoted to those monstrous and monotonous aerobic routines is totally unnecessary.
But it's incredible to realise that the intention of these anti-boredom devices is to take your mind off what you are doing. Brilliant! With your focus and effort elsewhere, your whole exercise has just been downgraded. In any case, who has time for all this? And when aches and pains arrive well ahead of schedule - hey presto, that’s another drop-out.
How About Pounding the Streets?
Yes. There's no doubt about it. The continued fashion for running half marathons and marathons is excellent for the heart, lungs and fat reduction. It's also good for building stamina. Well, by that I mean it’s good for building running stamina, but not much else.
For all-round fitness, the upper body is woefully neglected and it's nowhere in sight for power and flexibility. Plus, if you want damaged knees and hips, this is a great way to do it! In other words, it’s a waste of time for all-round fitness and health. And the training takes hours.
Yogic Flying?
Now I don’t want you to think I'm just knocking weights, machines and marathons. Take a look at the ‘Fitness’ sections in any decent bookstore. What do you find?
Alongside the bulky muscle-monster volumes, shelves are practically levitating with gentle and harmonious works on yoga and Pilates. Just how many books on yoga can there be? And so many are practically clones of one other. Now I'm not knocking them - as you can tell - but they're far better on the coffee table than they will ever be for all-round fitness.
Women!
Most of them seem to be targeted at women. I guess the idea is that they are supposedly more genteel and more ‘feminine’ than the ‘masculine’ method of humping weights.
But watch out! Apart from their failings
in the all-round fitness department,
there are plenty of other snags with
yoga. My eBook Dangerous
Exercises Exposed! shows
that humping weights isn’t the
only mad way of exercising.
And surely you’ve seen the countless 'varieties' of aerobic videos around? They generally feature this or that well-known personality who can make you slimmer than the next one. Oh really? Better than nothing, of course, and if you enjoy them, that’s terrific. But for all-round fitness? Forget it.

You Want To Get Really Tough?
If you do, there’s a ton of tough books out there to tell you the 160 or whatever best exercises for your abdominal muscles or back. Did I read that right? Did you? Did it say 160? Yes it did.
Shriek!! And another 160 for the legs too? Yet another 160 for the chest and shoulders? And the arms? Just about the only thing that these books forgot to mention was the little detail about selling your house or giving up your job and settling permanently in the gym.
|
Do You Want to Control Your Fitness or
Do You Want Fitness to Control You? |
Life Outside the Gym?
Don’t misunderstand me. If you want to pound the streets, hump weights, spend hours on repetitive machines, sit with your legs knitted or jump up and down on steps, be my guest. It's none of my business.
But the reality is that you don't need this stuff to become extraordinarily fit. By contrast, The Fitnessblasting Manual focuses on working the different muscle groups in ways that will not be familiar to you. This is more effective, safer and takes a lot less time.
The ‘Secrets’ of Fitnessblasting
Some fitness courses imply that they can reveal something that other fitness ‘gurus’ don’t want you to know. Oh really! This is a joke isn’t it? The truth is that most fitness courses, videos, programs and books don’t tell you any ‘secrets’ because they don’t know any. All they do is recycle the same old stuff. More clones, pretending to be different.
The key, or ‘secret’, to Fitnessblasting is that it shows you 2 absolutely critical techniques that you must know without question. These double the effectiveness of umpteen exercises without adding weights or adding repetitions. This means that you combine the 6-core elements of fitness into one manageable program to give you DEEP fitness.
As a result, your workouts are far more effective and time-efficient. It also means that you can work without weights or spending hours on machines. In turn, this means that the Fitnessblasting program is safer for your joints, tendons and muscles.
Should You Join A Gym?
Because you don't need weights
or machines you can exercise almost
anywhere - at home, in a hotel room
or even in the office. And if you
are so inclined, you can save a heap
of time and a heap of cash by not
joining a gym or not purchasing the
latest chic sports-wear.
A natural question would then be whether or not you should join the local Strains 'N' Sprains 'R' Us. Apart from the cost, it seems to me that the chief downside is exactly the thing that fitness clubs promote - their facilities! A mass of expensive equipment is a massive temptation. The assumption is that because it’s all over the place it must be necessary.
The counter-position is that gym membership has the advantage of providing a framework that encourages you to do more than you would in your own garage or bedroom. Going there makes you do it. It can also be a great social activity and useful for swapping ideas.
The Real Issue: The Right Program.
The problem is not so much gym membership as the program. Pretty well every fitness program on the market only deals with this or that aspect of fitness - such as how to be slimmer or how to build big muscles or how to run that marathon, or whatever.
Now none of these are necessarily bad ideas. But because they tend to specialize so much, it's questionable whether they can be said to build fitness in an all-round sense at all. But what is the right program? The right program is the one that brings the 6-key elements of fitness into one program:
|
1. Strength.
2. Stamina.
3. Speed. |
4. Suppleness.
5. Coordination.
6. Balance. |
The Fitnessblasting Manual does exactly this with a decent and honest program that is workable by any normal person without becoming a fanatic.
|
Some Fitnessblasting Know-How Features:
- The best Leg & Lung Exercise ever developed. This gives a rock-solid base for too many sports to mention.
- Two 'magic' techniques that you can add to almost any exercise to double its effectiveness - without adding weights or increasing reps.
- The single best exercise to flatten your stomach - plus some great stuff to work your abs all-round.
- The two absolutely essential exercises that can burn-off fat faster than you thought possible.
- Three exercises that can make you sweat without even moving.
- Three great ways to improve your balance and coordination even when you're 'not exercising'.
- Two critical breathing techniques to expand your lungpower, increase your metabolism and boost practically every exercise you care to do.
|
A Comprehensive Package
Many manuals offer dozens or even hundreds of exercises to choose from - and leave you to sort them out. By contrast, the Fitnessblasting approach focuses on 30 essential exercises.
Many you will never have seen. Others you won’t have seen like this. All are part of the program. None are ‘padding’ to fill-out the text. Most of them work more than one muscle group. This makes them tough to categorize.
It also makes the Manual a total package that covers the Lower Body, Back, Abs, Upper Body, Full Body and balance in ways you will not have seen before. Multi-movements and Blaster-Breathing gives them an intensity and effectiveness that is completely new. For example, without jogging or machines, your lungs will get the best blowout they’ve ever had to develop strength, endurance and cardio at the same time and in record time too.
“The Fitnessblasting Manual”
A Total Fitness Package |
Breathing the Fitnessblasting Way.
On this last point, as you may have already found out, many courses, videos and fitness books pay lip-service to the vital topic of correct breathing. But it's hard to avoid the conclusion that they really know little or nothing worth knowing about it.
By contrast, Fitnessblasting is explicit about the incredible benefits of correct breathing and also the directions for the specific techniques involved. Just a few of the gains you make from Blaster Breathing are:
- It works all the back muscles that are linked to your ribs as well as muscles below the ribs,
- Loads these muscles with oxygen,
- Floods oxygen throughout the body,
- Expands the capacity of the lungs,
- Raises your metabolism,
- Burns-off calories,
- Invigorates and rejuvenates,
- Refreshes and clears your mind,
THE BENEFITS OF THESE BREATHING TECHNIQUES ARE SO GREAT THAT FOR MANY THIS ALONE WILL BE WORTH BUYING THE PROGRAM.
Who Will Benefit from Fitnessblasting?
- Anyone who is tired of the sores, aches & pains of weights, machines and pounding the streets but who still wants to be in top condition.
- Anyone who has reached a fitness plateau and can't improve on it.
- Anyone who wants to develop all-round fitness for other sports.
- Anyone who wants to get in-condition rapidly and safely.
- Anyone who wants to lose fat without the usual round of dieting weight loss and then weight gain.
- Anyone who wants to lose fat but can’t spend hours every week on a treadmill, or whatever.
- Anyone who wants to beat age-related muscle weakness and reduced flexibility.
- Anyone who is tired of being bored out of her or his pants on cardio-machines and wants a better way.

OK Jon,
Tell Me More About Your Manual
Fitnessblasting is a truly remarkable program to get you remarkably fit.
Why you want to get fit is your business. Maybe you want to impress and look good? Maybe you want to slim down and control your weight? Maybe you want to rocket your sports performance? Maybe you want to be the best you can and be as healthy as you can?
Fine. The key thing is not to waste time, energy or money on programs that either don’t work, require you to convert to fanaticism or give you injury problems sooner or later.
Part ONE: Shows you the dangers and problems of ‘traditional’ methods and why you should avoid them It shows how this saves you a small fortune! It also prepares you for the critical instruction that doubles the effectiveness of an exercise without loading weights or adding reps.
Part TWO:
The four chapters start
by introducing you to the Fitnessblasting session
with little-known warm-up
exercise you must not miss.
Amongst other material,
you then get King
Blasters: the
best Leg ‘n’ Lung
excise ever invented for
practically any sport;
plus a unique upper-body
and ab workout far superior
to others you’ve
seen. Because these build
MASSIVE power and endurance,
they just have to be seen
and tried to be believed!
Part THREE: Here you get a complete suite of exercises needed for ‘Switch Sessions’ to give your body surprises and cover all the angles. The core of this is The Ab Pack and The Variety Pack of body exercises.
Part FOUR: The TWO ‘secrets’ of complete conditioning. Specific Blaster Breathing instructions to transform almost any workout! This is a big, big weak point in most fitness instruction that blather on about ‘correct breathing’ without getting down to the nitty-gritty of how you do it.
Plus: ‘Top Tips’ and ‘Fitnessblasting Golden Rules’ along with 3 Appendices to give you a feast of all-meat no-dross know-how. |

Complete Conditioning
Because these methods are so effective, you don’t have to spend ridiculous hours working out. And, unlike other programs, which focus on only one or two aspects of fitness, Fitnessblasting develops fitness in an all-round way for endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination as well as speed and strength.
This produces:
- A level of fitness you wouldn’t think possible without hours of weights, machines or cardio,
- Great leg and lung strength
- Stronger abs and back,
- A flat stomach,
- Slimmer thighs,
- Far greater effective strength, stamina, speed and suppleness,
- Push and pull arm power.
But that’s not all …
- Better all-round muscle definition without bulking-up,
- Healthier digestion and circulation,
- A great night's sleep,
- Improved appearance,
- Tremendous self-confidence.
And more …
- A spring in your step and a glint in your eye.
- you will look better,
- you will feel great
- your body will love it,
- you will love it.
Your sex or age is not an issue as long as you don’t suffer from any physical problems or disabilities. In fact, the older you are the better this Program is likely to be as it doesn’t rely on machinery, weights or hours of cardio.
No Matter What Your Sport
Sports such as tennis, golf and squash, involve a tremendous amount of twisting of the back, knees and neck. Hence the Fitnessblasting approach, where muscles are exercised as they are moved in real life rather than by machines or weights, is fundamental.
But most sports also demand a heck of a lot of running. Lucky for you, The Fitnessblasting Manual has the best and most efficient Legs ‘n’ Lungs exercise ever, anywhere, which cuts the training time needed. This alone makes the Manual indispensable because it gives you space to devote more time to tactics and other skills of your sport.

“Hi Jon -
I reached the grand old age of 50 recently. Was I depressed? Yes- that is, until I discovered your fitnessblasting manual! What an inspiration! Why didn’t I know about this before? Better late than never I suppose.
You programme has taught me a whole new way of working out. Although I use weights regularly ive never been a fan of them. So your volume filled a gap by providing a whole lot of exercise material without weights. As an added bonus, the reasoning behind your programme gave me some good excuses for not being too keen on them!
Your manual is an interesting read and I couldn’t resist trying some of the exercises well before reaching the end. But best of all was the realisation that I don’t need to knock myself out for hours every week to keep in condition. In fact, with the help of your programme for the basic workout I can knock myself out in a much shorter time! …”
Yvonne Brown. Special Needs Teacher. Bowden UK

“ …Impressively, alongside my misguided loyalty to weight training, I recognized half a dozen of your ‘forbidden’ exercises in your “Dangerous Exercises” book that I’ve done over the years. I am now completely convinced that these caused me trouble and that this is why I used to suffer from constant aches and strains.
For me, no longer having any ACHES OR PAINS is a very big gain. Even my heels that have given me plenty of problems over the years seem better!
Like lots of others, I always thought that the way to train was mainly with weights for strength. My strength is now at least as good as before but my flexibility has made great strides. Your idea of “all-round” fitness is a winner! Thank you for making me fit again”
Aryeh Tal. Herzeliya, Israel.

“I am looking to find low impact exercises that will keep me fit, especially for my new chosen sport of cycling. My ambition is to cycle some of the great Tour-de-France climbs, like Alp de Huez, and Mont Ventoux. I need to work on my lung and legs exercises. Finding your books has been a real bonus. Your lung and leg exercises are paying real dividends. Climbing hills on training runs are getting easier and faster …”
”
Gordon Hood. 55 years old. Regeneration Consultant.
Poynton, UK

“ …All this working out really works up an appetite. So I’m also working through your recipes. Why? Because I’m always on the look out for new ideas food-wise. I look at stacks of recipes in the usually vain hope of picking up something different to the usual run-of-the-mill stuff.

Your Muscle Flap Jack recipe looked the part so we tried it. Nice and tasty and even better as a nourishing meal replacement bar compared to low-cal or low-carb bars you buy in stores. Your recipe has a ample protein + good carbs + weighs about three times heavier than the ones we know + has no transfats or chemical mush. Fast to make too for a quick and easy feed.

Our only complaint is you never mentioned anything about needing jaws like Tyrannosaurus Rex to get through them! I guess the logic is that eating them is practically a workout on its own. But that helps make them a meal rather than one of those silly snacks that don’t do you any good and still leave you completely unsatisfied anyway. The trick seems to be to make the mix a bit more fluid before baking.
Loved your power pancakes too. I’m now working up to more of your exercises! I’ll soon be the fittest person on the planet! Excellent stuff.”
Janet Morris, Nursery School Proprietor, mother of 3, Manchester UK.

“ …I have to say that another aspect of your method also impresses me. This that sticking with it only a short time in short workouts really produces rapid results. Suitably warned by your “Dangerous Exercises” ebook and impressed by Blaster Squats, I am now far more confident that my training really is more all-round fitness that it ever was.
Your booklet about the high intensity Body Shocking workout was a challenge too. Great stuff.”
Toby Glynn. Melbourne. Australia.

“ …Currently, I am having a problem with a sore shoulder. So, as someone who has had a fair share of injuries over the years, I welcome the material in your Ebook “Dangerous Exercises Exposed”. In my experience, even niggles have a way of staying around for a long time. So I am firmly of the opinion that it is far better not to get injured in the first place.
As a big fan of food and wine, I find that the main problem with fighting the flab is that the flab fights back! So, the curry recipe on your site surprised me. I didn’t think fitness and curry went hand in hand. I still don’t, but I’m not complaining!
In summary, I find your approach refreshing and rich in ideas. Please keep up the supply.”

Keep the material coming; I hope to see more of it! “

“Hi Jon, …What really makes your books great is their accessibility; the exercises are well described and illustrated. They certainly don’t read like manuals.
Your books have given me back my appetite for exercise. Keep on producing them!”
