CYCLING UP HILLS
Two Techniques To Cycle Up Hills Like A Rocket

Two Simple Techniques that Made Me
"Man-of-the-Mountains"

There is a vile notion says that cycling up tough hills and mountains amounts to cycling with all the enjoyment removed! But that’s not true, is it? Anyone who knows can tell you - the truth is that tough cycle hill climb is fantastic.

This raises the question as to what is the best cycle fitness training program for flying up hills and powering over mountains as if you were propelled by rocket fuel? Well, to state the unavoidable, you need tremendous strength and endurance in your legs and lungs. One of my big claims is that a fast and efficient way to achieve both is to be found in my fitness training e-book The Fitnessblasting Manual.

But a claim is only a claim. Where is the pudding and where is the eating? What can Fitnessblasting do for cycle fitness and sports performance in general? In short, where’s the proof?

Here’s some …

The Proof of the Pudding is in the Eating

A good chance to test the Fitnessblasting claim came my way last September on a cycle ride across the north of England. This was on the famous Sea-to-Sea route (C2C) from the west coast to the east coast. The weather in this part of the UK isn’t always the best. But the scenery is.

The ride takes you through valleys, over mountains and alongside lakes of one of the most beautiful and spectacular areas of English countryside.

As a ride, it’s generally classed as ‘moderate to challenging’.  The moderate parts of the route really were moderate.  And the steep and sustained climbing parts really were challenging.  And the great thing was - this region spoils you for choice when it comes to tough and sustained climbing.

Testing Fitnessblasting

The idea for a ride of this type had been in my mind for some time. So, when the chance came up to make the trip with members of a running and cycling club, I jumped at it.

One of the advantages of riding with a club is the great company. Another was the convenience that the accommodation after each day’s ride was organized. The combination of both, plus some great hills, made for a fantastic event.

But in addition to having a great time, the aim was to test Fitnessblasting. A core idea is that you will find in The Fitnessblasting Manual the best single exercise ever invented for building strength and endurance in your legs and lungs.

In fact, it’s so stunningly effective that I reckon it should be part of the basic fitness training for a host of sports. Any sport that needs good legs and lungs absolutely must have it. And there are lots of sports that absolutely must have good legs and lungs to attain superior performances.

Just Look at this List!

For instance:

TRACK ATHLETICS, cross-country running, orienteering and triathlons naturally need great legs and lungs.

FIELD COMPETITIONS, such as football, hockey and rugby, need ‘em too.

COURT EVENTS like tennis, squash, basketball and volleyball; ditto.

NON-RUNNING SPORTS, such as rowing, skating, skiing, climbing, boxing and wrestling all need powerful legs and lungs.

EXTREME SPORTS, ditto.

You get the picture. And I guess you can think of others I’ve missed out without much trouble. One of those others is cycling.

My idea was to do a minimum of cycle training for the ride. The idea was to do just enough to get legs used to the specific action of cycling again and to get over any saddle soreness after a long lay-off from being on a bike. The test was to rely on the power of my main Fitnessblasting leg and lung workout and one other simple but ‘secret’ training ingredient that I’ll reveal below.

How Well Did Fitnessblasting Do?

As you would expect, modesty forbids me to say how marvellous I was. It’s enough to say that I ended up as MAN OF THE MOUNTAINS. WHY? Because on all the long and steepest climbs yours truly was ahead of the pack and first to the top.

But with my limited bike training, I have to say that the amount of sustained effort needed for these climbs was far in excess of my expectations. So, the first impact of the climbing was shock. But after the shock, the second sensation was of sheer delight to find that my Fitnessblasting-trained legs and lungs were up to it. This was a great feeling. The ‘King-of-the-Mountains’ title was nice too.

Aw Shucks Folks …

As you would expect, not being an egomaniac or anything, I took this acclaim and adulation in my stride with a ‘Shucks-Folks-It-Was-Nothing’ type of response. You know the thing, ‘Anyone Could Have Done It’. And I have absolutely no doubt about that.

If you want extra leg and lung strength, make sure you use Fitnessblasting. Simple, powerful and stunningly effective, it should be a normal part of most training regimes. WHY? Because it has the phenomenal capacity to build both leg power and endurance simultaneously like nothing else. At the same time it provides a truly incredible and concentrated lung workout too.

TWO Premium Extras You Should Know About

The beauties of Fitnessblasting don’t just stop at providing the best leg and lung exercise ever. You should be aware of a couple of other rewards.

1/ The first is that the specific Fitnessblasting leg and lung workout doesn’t take anything like the time needed for a decent bike ride. So you save a heap of time.

Now don’t get me wrong here, if you want to be a performance cyclist you still need to put lots of miles in your muscles and lungs. And you absolutely must have all the cycle-specific skills, such as cornering, braking, climbing, gear changing and so on, which you can only get by lots of riding.

My point is that the Fitnessblasting method is extremely effective and extremely time efficient.

2/         The second reward is that you can do Fitnessblasting workout just about anywhere.  For example, your garage, bedroom or hotel room would be just fine.

Now it’s true that plenty of folks in the fitness industry look down their noses at this.  And some people just love shelling out good money for the use of gadgets and expensive gym apparatus.  I guess they have a slogan that says,

It-Can’t-Be-So-Hot-Unless-You-Pay-A-Lot.

But this is just fitness snobbery.  It’s also their money and their problem.  Why make it yours?

A NEW & SNEAKY STAMINA TIP FOR YOU
Try This For A Power Surge, Then Zoooom

OK.  This is a confession.  I confess right now that on top to my Fitnessblasting leg and lung workout there was another reason why I did so well on the mountains.  This was a hidden reason.  It was my secret weapon.  I took along a concealed EXTRA; a sly supply of my own zoom food for snacking on the bike.  This power pack snack is my own invention.  I make it myself to my own recipe.  And it works a treat.

Let me put it another way - when you need a power surge for stamina or a fast recovery, THIS IS IT.  Even better, it’s simple and fast to make.  And better than anything you can buy that I’ve yet discovered.  A lot cheaper too.  Guess what I call them now?
